Welcome to Saffrons Park Training, Research and Education Centre
Saffrons Park Training, Research and Education Centre is an Early Years Centre located on the outskirts of Eastbourne Town Centre. Saffrons Park Nursery offers a unique learning approach to Early Years, and we believe that developing knowledge and understanding through Professional Development and Action Research is a central feature to our uniqueness.
We offer a range of Professional Development opportunities including Professional Development days, Discovery Sessions, training on a number of areas, and bespoke training.
The research part of our centre, is an extension to our early years setting. Our daily practice is informed by our research that we carry out through working with our children and families.
INVALUABLE SUPPORT FOR EARLY YEARS SPECIALISTS
Reignite your passion for Early Years learning
Over the past few years, the world has watched the struggles for Early Years educators. Working through the uncertainty of a pandemic, changes to the EYFS, financial strains, and now a recruitment crisis has led to many individuals becoming deflated and, unfortunately, leaving the sector behind.
Saffrons Park Training, Research and Education Centre was formed in order to help inspire managers, leaders and Early Years professionals. By offering support, advice and training, Sarah, a business owner and experienced consultant with over 21 years experience, hopes to help you reclaim your love for your role whilst working on professional development for now and the future.
Early Years Consultant - Curiosity Approach Ambassador
"I have worked as a qualified teacher since 2001, working within Early Years and Key Stage 1. I then moved on to buying my own nursery in 2005. My first nursery was quite small, and then we were lucky enough to move to larger premises where we could take up to 115 children at one time. I gained my 'Early Years Professional Status' in 2008, and then my Master's degree with Early Years Teacher Status in 2016.
My passion lies in inspiring and supporting practitioners and Early Years professionals. I love seeing people become motivated again as they complete professional development of different kinds."
